A residence permit or permanent residence permit is a document confirming the right of a foreigner to reside in the Republic of Kazakhstan for a long term.
In Kazakhstan, a residence permit is issued for the period of passport validity, but not more than 10 years, with the possibility of renewal for a similar period.
